Terms and conditions

All new clients will be asked to complete a customer registration form and return it to me. Please inform me of any changes and I will keep this information updated. I take the utmost care throughout the grooming process to ensure the health, safety and well being of your dog. Immaculate Mutts is not liable for any pre-existing condition. If anything untoward is discovered I will notify you. It will then be necessary for your to consult your vet 

 You must inform me if your dog has ever bitten or has aggressive tendencies. A muzzle will be used if necessary and only as a last resort. If your pet shows any unmanageable aggression Immaculate Mutts reserves the right not to continue with the grooming session and full charge will be payable. 

Severely matted/overgrown coats may result in having to clip close to the dogs skin. The client should be aware that irritation and skin nicks may occur from the shaving process. The client agrees that Immaculate Mutts will not be held liable for any after grooming effects or problems uncovered on a severely matted or neglected coat. The client agrees to pay the full cost of the groom, including a de-matting fee. Matted coats will not and cannot be brushed out. This would cause extreme pain/discomfort for the dog and to do so would conflict with the Animal Welfare Act that I am obliged to adhere to. Matted coats will be shaved for the welfare and comfort of your dog. 

•  Missed appointments/no shows must be paid for before another is made, this will be 100% of the full groom price    
• Cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours notice must be paid for before another appointment is rebooked, this will be 100% of the full groom price  
• Please ensure you drop off and pick up on time, dogs kept past their grooming time will be considered as daycare for which Immaculate Mutts is not licensed for. Over 15 minute late pick ups will result in a £10 per hour late fee being charged    
• If fleas are found an extra £10 will be added to your grooming fee to cover the cost of fumigating the salon to avoid cross infection to another dog    
• If your dog has severe matting, a charge of £10 will be added to the cost of your grooming to cover the cost of blade sharpening and additional time to remove the matting.
